Cameras, telescopes and binoculars require special-purpose solar filters secured over the front of the optics during partial phases. Eclipse glasses worn on the face do not make it safe to look through an unfiltered optical instrument.

Follow current manufacturer instructions and authoritative safety guidance. If uncertain, do not look directly at the Sun.

Weather
